Mekelesha is kind of like the Ethiopian version of garam masala. It apparently translates as "make tasty" and used in many dishes, especially the Wats - eg Feyell Wat
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Black Cardamom Seeds
- 2 tbsp Black Peppercorns
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks broken into pieces
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Whole Cloves
- 2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
Putting it all together:
It's a spice mix, so mix it.
