Brad's Go To Stir Fry Sauce

This was originally the sauce for my Chicken and Cashew Stir Fry, but it's so good I now use it for all of my stir fries. Use this as the base and add whatever other flavours that will go with the main ingredient. 

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (ordinary all-purpose or light soy sauce. Not dark soy sauce)
  • 2 tbsp Brandy
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Dash of white pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch / cornflour
  • 120 ml water
Putting it all together:
Simply mix all the ingredients together in a lidded jar and shake the bejeesus out of it. 

Start cooking your stir fry and after you add everything, pour the sauce over the top. Cook until meat is done and sauce has thickened.
